- Canada Info
500 pages of information about Canada. Includes government,
history, geography, etc.
- Cathy Duffy Reviews
They have reviews of a large number home schooling curriculum,
books, kits, etc.
Learn a language for free.
A major home schooling site.
Lots of teaching tips and articles.
- How Everyday Things Are Made - by Stanford
They have lots of awesome videos showing how things are made.

- Project Gutenberg - Free Books
Over 20,000 free books, with complete text. These great books
are out of copyright, and are free for you to download and read.
Titles include books like Tom Sawyer (and other Mark Twain books),
the works of Plato, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, by Jules Verne,
Adventures Of Pinocchio, and many more.

This site has detailed instructions to build simple electric

Get this free planetarium program for your computer. It's great
for studying astronomy.
- Temperatures in Calgary - What Is the
Usual Temperature in Calgary?
A graph of the average high and low temperature, and the maximum
high's and low's ever recorded, for each month.
- The Alberta Home Education Association
AHEA is a Christian home schooling group for all of Alberta,
that focuses exclusively on traditional home schooling (they
don't support major traditional home schooling providers, if
they also provide any other types of home schooling support,
such as blended or aligned). They have a conference each year
in Red Deer, that has lots of vendors that provide exclusively
traditional home schooling materials. They also lobby the Alberta
Government on matters that affect traditional home schooling.

If you want worksheets for your child, check this site out.
Because there are so many great home schooling
websites, and more coming on-line all the time, make sure you
or other search engines, for any topic you can think of from worksheets,
to snowflakes, to dyslexia. There are many sites on just about
every topic you can imagine.
