- Bow Habitat Station
"Explore through hands-on displays and exhibits about Alberta's
fish, wildlife, and water." They have lots of family friendly

Butterfield Acres is an educational farm with lots of attractions
and programs. They have 3 home school days per year. Here is

They have tons of educational materials for home schoolers (and
don't forget to check out their huge video collection - they
have tons of educational videos as well as regular movies).

- Esker Foundation Gallery
The Esker Foundation Gallery is a non-commercial gallery for
innovative and exceptional temporary art exhibitions and educational
events, that are surprising, fun, challenging, accessible, meaningful,
and relevant to our human story. The Esker Foundation upholds
the highest museum standards for public exhibitions as an 'A'
level non-collecting gallery, and adheres to Canadian Association
of Museum standards. It is located in a brand new building in

Just visiting Fish Creek park is very nice, also.

- Glenbow Museum
A pass is highly recommended by several hs'ers who have used
them. They have lots of hands-on stuff, and they change these
regularly. They don't have home school events, but if you get
a group of 10 or more homeschooled children together, you can
register for the school programs.

The Nickle Galleries is at the U of C. Admission is free
(you just have to pay for parking). The collection is now located
in the new library building, called the Taylor Family Digital

"Spaceport is pleased to be offering Homeschoolers
Days (since the Fall of 2006). Bring your students of all
ages in to enjoy a day full of fun, and space & aviation
